“On the darkest days when I feel inadequate, unloved and unworthy, I remember whose daughter I am, and I straighten my crown!” — Unknown
Where you come from does not dictate if you are a Queen or not. Queendom is a mindset, not a social status. Straightening your crown and knowing your worth is a mindset every woman should strive for.
This raises the question, How does one become a Queen?
Becoming a Queen means embracing who you are and letting yourself shine. Embrace your power and wield it as a weapon towards the negativity in your life. As a Queen, it is your responsibility to not let others, or even yourself, bring you down. You are a strong woman, and you need to act like it in order to banish the negativity in your life.
Embracing who you are also means embracing your beauty. Because you are beautiful! No matter shape, size, age, you are beautiful by being you. A Queen does not dismiss her looks or feel embarrassed by them. Instead, she pairs her beauty with jewels.
In addition to embracing your beauty, you must not compare yourself to others. Everyone is unique in their own ways, do not fault yourself because of someone else. A Queen knows there’s not another like herself.
Instead of comparing yourself to others, root for other women. Remember, you are not the only Queen, and it’s important to support other royalty. Always give a helping hand and be supportive of others, so they may shine as well. Being a Queen is not a competition, it’s a journey.
Queens do not follow the crowds, they are meant to lead. Do not let yourself be influenced by others, only follow the path you chose. Be the leader in your life.
Finally and most importantly, know your worth. You are worthy of the most beautiful and extraordinary life. Do not let yourself think you are worth anything less than the absolute best. Crowns are not placed on everyone’s head, and it’s important that you keep your spine straight to support the crown.
Thank you for this blog. I have thought of being considered a queen. Now as you have stated be your own you has opened my mind and eyes.
