A fantastic way to streamline creativity, as well as plan/organize what you want to make your life into, is to make vision boards! (also known as dream boards) A multifaceted activity that combines fun, creativity, manifestation, and engaging with yourself and others on a deeper level.
After your done I promise you’ll go to bed feeling happy, fulfilled, confident, and engaged in your life as well as your deeper purpose, excited about what you love and what you want to achieve.
My partner, Candace, and I were talking with Christine (my step-mom) about vision boards because she lives her life in a very spiritually grounded way, and has years of experience with vision boards. She is engaged in her relationship with God, her purpose, her overall outlook on life and her badass mindset. Basically, we picked a date to all get together and have a dream board night of creation and manifestation.
I had done this once before with my family. But I didn’t fully comprehend the power of manifestation and reaffirmation. With knowledge of this prior to my second dream board experience, I feel like it was a lot more specific and intentional. And overall more effective.
All you have to do, is get a piece of paper/poster board (Depending on how big you want it to be), and magazines! And you can of COURSE add your own flair in anyway you feel the most you, like glitter, stickers, drawings, and fun tape to accessorize. I used magazines because its fun and easy to flip through and see what screams out at you; Like this page that was an ad for CoverGirl that read, “I am what I make up.” And this just jumped out at me, and I had to cut it out and add it to my pile.
After organizing my cut-outs in a way that was visually appealing to me, I glued them all on! And its a double win because not only is it a fun activity and great opportunity for bonding, and honesty (with yourself), you get to keep your vision board FOREVER!
I still have my first one from November of 2015, and its funny to see what you put on there in the past to see if you achieved your goals, or if your goals now are totally different. For example, I got a cat last year. And it never hit me until I saw my vision board last week for the first time that, 3 years ago I put a cat on my board! And I wasn’t thinking about that when I adopted her, but I subconsciously manifested this!! I know its a small example and there a lot more powerful reasons for creating a dream boards, but it just made me smile.
Here are my boards, (I have 3 because I got really excited, and had way too many magazine cut-outs!) But it worked out, because I organized them into 3 categories; Personal Development, Overall Career, and Career Short-term. (BYOU!) 🙂
Thank you for reading!! NOW Go Get Started on Manifesting Your Wildest Dreams!!
